This report examines publicly available data from the National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS) to evaluate sex and racial disparities and disproportionalities, aiming to better understand which demographic groups are most impacted and how these trends vary over time, while also assessing differences in the presence of injury, bias motivation, the use of weapons and/or force, and victim-offender familiarity in crimes against persons.
